Home For Christmas
After 6 long months of working on my short film, I am sooo excited to finally share it with the world!! I still can’t believe that it’s done and every time I rewatch it, I feel so much joy and pride in myself for not giving up and challenging myself to take on such a challenge!
Animation, as you may know, is one of those crafts that you have to pour your heart and soul into. It requires a splash of patience, a handful of determination, a pinch of analytical and creative problem skills, a whole lot of troubleshooting abilities, and dash of storytelling. I am so grateful to all of my classmates and instructors for encouraging me during my most challenging scenes, for the amazing feedback and guidance from my mentors, and the support of my family and friends. This project literally took a village and then some and I am so excited that the time has come for it to shine its light!
So without further ado, please sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.
The story is loosely based on my grandparents’ love story as well as on modern love during the COVID-19 pandemic, since many couples faced uncertainty of not knowing when they would see each other again.
I am so grateful for this amazing experience! It will definitely go down as one of those pinch me moments in my life.
Thank you for watching! I hope you enjoy it!
